We are hiring a Data QA Engineer to support a leading global manufacturing client. This role is strictly focused on Data Quality Assurance—combining a strong QA mindset with deep data technical skills to validate complex manufacturing data flows end-to-end.
Key Responsibilities
- End-to-End Pipeline Validation: Inspect data across raw-to-curated ETL/ELT layers for completeness, schema adherence, and accuracy.
- Test Automation: Design and execute automated Python test suites to validate datasets at scale.
- Data Modeling & Verification: Query and verify relational/dimensional models, aggregations, and business logic across query layers.
- Cross-Functional Testing: Collaborate with Data Engineering and Product teams to create robust data test scenarios based on manufacturing logic.
Your Profile
Mandatory Requirements:
- Experience: 5–8 years overall experience, with 3+ years specifically in Data QA / Data Quality Engineering.
- Technical Stack: Advanced SQL and Python (for data validation and test automation).
- Data Core: Strong understanding of ETL/ELT pipelines, data modeling, and schema testing.
- Cloud Platform: Hands-on experience with Azure and Azure Databricks.
- Work Schedule: (1:30 PM / 2:00 PM – 11:30 PM IST).
- Fulltime Permanent employment- Remote
- Immediate joiner/Serving notice period talents are pref
Preferred Skills:
- Prior domain experience with manufacturing datasets (IoT, sensor data, supply chain).
