Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Interior Designer role based in Mumbai. The Interior Designer will develop design concepts, prepare layouts, and translate client requirements into detailed interior plans. Day-to-day responsibilities include space planning, producing drawings and presentations, coordinating FF&E (furniture, fixtures, and equipment), and collaborating with architects, contractors, and vendors to ensure design intent is maintained during execution. The role involves site visits, measurement and documentation, material and finish selection, and participation in client meetings for design reviews and approvals. The Interior Designer will also help manage project timelines, maintain design standards, and support smooth project delivery from concept to completion.
Qualifications
- Ability to plan and organize interiors effectively, with strong skills in Space Planning and Interior Design.
- Understanding of Architecture principles and their application to interior projects.
- Proficiency in preparing Construction Drawings and technical documentation and BOQ for execution.
- Experience in selecting and coordinating FF&E, including furniture, fixtures, materials, and finishes.
- Degree or diploma in Interior Design and Architecture,
- Proficiency in design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar tools). With MS Office .
- Strong visual and design sensibility, with an eye for detail and functionality.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and clients.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and handle on-site coordination in Mumbai.
