Role Description The Technical Co-founder will lead the end-to-end development of Nexwear Innovation’s core products, owning technical architecture, implementation, and deployment. This full-time, on-site role in Tiruchirappalli involves designing and building scalable solutions, setting technical standards, and establishing best practices for development, testing, and release. The Technical Co-founder will collaborate closely with other founders to translate business goals into technical roadmaps, prioritize features, and manage timelines and resources. Day-to-day responsibilities include hands-on coding, reviewing technical work, guiding junior team members, and evaluating new tools and technologies that can strengthen the product stack. The role also includes supporting investor and stakeholder discussions with clear technical documentation, risk assessments, and plans for future product evolution.
Qualifications
- Strong software engineering skills, including proficiency in at least one modern programming language and experience with product-oriented development.
- Hands-on experience with system architecture design, database management, and integration of front-end and back-end components.
- Background in hardware-software integration, IoT, or wearable technology is highly beneficial.
- Ability to set up and manage development workflows, including version control, testing frameworks, and deployment pipelines.
- Experience working in early-stage startups or in environments requiring rapid prototyping and iterative product development.
- Comfort with collaborating on business strategy, including product planning, technical budgeting, and technology risk management.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
