Role Description The Volunteer will support academic and student engagement activities in a full-time, on-site role based in Mumbai. Day-to-day tasks may include assisting faculty during live sessions and events, helping learners navigate online platforms and resources, and coordinating logistics for workshops, seminars, and outreach initiatives. The Volunteer may contribute to content preparation for learning materials, maintain basic documentation and reports, and provide guidance to learners on academic processes. The role involves collaborating with staff, faculty, and students to enhance the overall learning experience and ensure smooth execution of on-campus activities related to Amity University Online.
Qualifications
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact respectfully and effectively with learners, faculty, and staff.
- Organizational and time-management abilities to support events, sessions, and daily academic operations.
- Comfort with computers and digital tools, including learning management systems, video conferencing platforms, and basic office productivity software.
- Collaborative mindset, reliability, and a proactive approach to problem-solving in a fast-paced educational environment.
- Interest in education, online learning, or student support; prior experience in volunteering, tutoring, or academic support is an advantage.
- Minimum educational background at the undergraduate level (completed or in progress) in any discipline; familiarity with management or education fields is beneficial.
- Ability to commit to a full-time, on-site schedule in Mumbai and uphold inclusive, learner-centered values.
