Video Editor Intern – Interview & Podcast Content
About the Role
We are looking for a Video Editor Intern who has an interest in editing podcasts, interviews, leadership conversations, and talking-head videos.
The ideal candidate should be comfortable taking raw interview footage and turning it into clean, engaging, professional-looking videos suitable for LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube, and other digital platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit long-form interview and podcast videos from raw footage.
- Create short-form clips/reels from interviews.
- Clean and synchronize audio and video.
- Add subtitles, captions, basic graphics, transitions, and B-roll where required.
- Maintain a professional and premium visual style.
- Identify strong moments, quotes, and hooks that can be converted into short clips.
- Handle basic colour correction, audio enhancement, and framing.
- Follow editing briefs and deliver videos within agreed timelines.
- Make revisions based on feedback.
Requirements
- Experience with podcast, interview, webinar, or talking-head video editing is preferred.
- Proficiency in Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, CapCut, or similar editing software.
- Good understanding of pacing, storytelling, cuts, subtitles, and social-media formats.
- Ability to create both long-form videos and short-form reels.
- Good attention to detail and sense of visual aesthetics.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- A portfolio/showreel of previous editing work is required.
