About The Role
We're looking for a creative, detail-oriented Video Editor to turn raw footage into polished, engaging stories. You'll work on a mix of projects, including corporate videos, promotional content and event films, and take them from rough cut to final delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit, trim, and assemble raw footage into compelling final videos
- Colour grade and correct footage to a consistent, professional look
- Add motion graphics, titles, transitions, sound design and music
- Clean up and balance audio
- Organise project files and manage footage, backups and exports
- Deliver videos in the right formats for different platforms (YouTube, Instagram, web,
broadcast, client screening)
- Incorporate client and team feedback quickly and keep to deadlines
- Collaborate with videographers, designers and project managers
Must-Have Skills
- Strong proficiency in DaVinci Resolve (editing, colour grading, Fusion, Fairlight)
- Working knowledge of other industry tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects
- Good sense of storytelling, pacing, rhythm and visual aesthetics
- Solid understanding of codecs, frame rates, aspect ratios and export settings
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
Good to Have (Plus Points)
- Hands-on experience editing wedding films or corporate events (highlight reels, teasers,
event recaps, interviews, multi-cam edits)
- Experience with Photoshop, Audition or other audio tools
- Basic motion graphics and animation skills
- Familiarity with AI-assisted editing tools
- Ability to shoot or assist on set
