Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Video Editor role based in Bengaluru. The Video Editor will be responsible for editing and assembling raw video footage into polished content for digital campaigns, websites, and product showcases. Day-to-day tasks include selecting and organizing clips, adding transitions and effects, synchronizing audio, performing basic color correction, and preparing videos in multiple formats and aspect ratios. The role involves collaborating with marketing, design, and development teams to understand project objectives, follow brand guidelines, and deliver engaging visual stories that support client growth. The Video Editor will also help optimize video assets for different platforms and maintain an organized archive of media files.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Video Editing and Video Production, including handling raw footage and assembling narrative sequences.
- Proficiency in Video Color Grading to ensure visual consistency and enhance overall look and feel.
- Experience with Motion Graphics and Graphics to create titles, overlays, animations, and visual elements that support storytelling.
- Hands-on experience with industry-standard editing and post-production tools (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, or similar).
- Ability to interpret creative briefs, follow brand guidelines, and adapt content for various digital platforms (social media, web, ads).
- Strong attention to detail, time management skills, and the ability to work on multiple projects with tight deadlines.
- Effective collaboration and communication skills to work closely with cross-functional teams in an on-site environment.
- Relevant education or training in film, media, design, or a related field is preferred; a strong portfolio demonstrating video editing and motion graphics work is required.
