Role Description The Video Editor role at Blue Whistle Advertising is a full-time, on-site position based in Patna. The Video Editor will work closely with creative and account teams to edit video content for ads, campaigns, and brand storytelling across digital and traditional platforms. Daily responsibilities include assembling raw footage, refining narrative flow, applying transitions and effects, performing basic color correction, and integrating motion graphics or titles as needed. The role also involves collaborating on concept development, maintaining brand consistency, managing project files, and preparing final deliverables in appropriate formats and resolutions. The Video Editor is expected to participate in team reviews, respond constructively to feedback, and manage timelines to meet production deadlines.
Qualifications
- Strong video production skills, including experience handling raw footage and understanding basic filming workflows.
- Proficiency in video editing using industry-standard software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools).
- Ability to perform video color grading and color correction to achieve consistent and polished visuals.
- Competence in motion graphics and graphics integration for titles, lower thirds, and simple animated elements.
- Attention to detail, strong visual storytelling abilities, and a good sense of pacing and sound synchronization.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with creative teams, take feedback constructively, and work on-site in Patna.
- Relevant education or training in film, media, design, or a related field; a portfolio demonstrating past video work is required.
- Familiarity with social media and digital advertising formats; knowledge of audio editing basics is an advantage.
