About the Role
Ediskool is the offline learning centre founded by Edition Studio, built to bridge the gap between digital theory and real-world post-production craft. Moving beyond online tutorials, we provide hands-on, face-to-face mentorship to train the next wave of editors and visual storytellers.
We are seeking skilled, industry-ready Mentors to lead in-person training across core post-production disciplines: Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, After Effects, and Photoshop. In this role, you will guide students through structured project-based workflows, breakdown professional edits, and provide direct feedback in an interactive studio classroom.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver Hands-on Training: Lead in-person classroom sessions, practical workshops, and one-on-one reviews for batches of beginner-to-intermediate creators.
Curriculum Execution: Guide students through end-to-end post-production workflows, from assembly and narrative pacing to color management, motion design, and final export standards.
Portfolio & Project Reviews: Review assignments over the shoulder, provide actionable critique, and assist students in assembling professional-grade showreels.
Studio Culture: Foster a collaborative, patient, and productive learning environment that mirrors real client and studio conditions.
Specializations / Subject Areas
Candidates may specialize in one or across multiple software suites:
Adobe Premiere Pro: Timeline workflow, pacing, multi-cam editing, audio design, and narrative storytelling.
DaVinci Resolve: Color science, node trees, shot matching, color grading workflows, and conform/finishing.
After Effects: Motion graphics, kinetic typography, tracking, keying, and visual effects fundamentals.
Adobe Photoshop: Digital composition, visual design, color theory, asset creation, and high-CTR thumbnail design.
Requirements & Qualifications
Demonstrated Craft: Proven track record in professional video editing, color grading, or motion design. A strong portfolio, showreel, or project breakdown is strictly required.
Technical Mastery: Advanced command over your chosen software toolset(s) (Premiere Pro, DaVinci, After Effects, or Photoshop).
Communication & Pedagogy: Ability to deconstruct complex technical concepts into clear, digestible steps for beginners. Strong verbal communication and interpersonal presence.
On-Site Availability: Must be based in or able to commute to our Indore learning centre for scheduled in-person sessions.
Mindset: High empathy, patience, and a genuine commitment to developing upcoming talent.
