Role Description The Assistant Professor {AOTT} at Apna will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching, mentoring, and academic support in relevant technical and theoretical areas. This full-time, on-site role, based in the Pune Division, involves designing and updating course curricula, preparing and delivering lectures, conducting tutorials and practical sessions, and evaluating student performance through assignments, projects, and examinations. The role includes guiding students on industry-relevant skills, contributing to academic research or applied projects, and collaborating with internal teams to align learning outcomes with Apna’s broader mission of workforce transformation. The Assistant Professor will also participate in departmental meetings, academic planning, and outreach initiatives that strengthen institutional partnerships and enhance learner employability.
Qualifications
- Strong subject-matter expertise in AOTT or related disciplines, with the ability to teach foundational and advanced concepts clearly and effectively.
- Experience in curriculum design, lesson planning, and assessment methods that support outcome-based education and industry readiness.
- Demonstrated ability to mentor, guide, and support diverse learners, fostering an inclusive and engaging classroom environment.
- Proficiency with digital teaching tools, learning management systems, and educational technologies to deliver blended and interactive learning.
- Relevant postgraduate degree (e.g., Master’s or Doctorate) in AOTT or a closely related field, meeting regulatory and institutional requirements.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, innovation-driven environment.
- Prior teaching or academic experience, and exposure to industry practices or applied projects, will be considered an advantage.
