Job Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Chemistry lessons for senior secondary students (Classes XI & XII) in accordance with the NCERT and CBSE curricula.
- Design and implement practical laboratory sessions, ensuring safety protocols and fostering a hands‑on learning environment.
- Assess student performance through formative and summative evaluations, providing constructive feedback and remedial support where required.
- Mentor and guide students for competitive exams such as JEE, NEET, and other state‑level entrance tests.
- Participate actively in departmental meetings, curriculum development, and school‑wide academic events.
- Collaborate with colleagues from other disciplines to promote interdisciplinary projects and co‑curricular activities.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades, and laboratory inventory.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of teaching methodologies and school policies.
Essential Qualifications
- Master’s degree or higher in Chemistry (M.Sc./M.Phil./Ph.D.) from a recognized university.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching certification (e.g., B.Ed. in Science).
- Profound knowledge of NCERT and CBSE Chemistry syllabi.
- Strong command of English (both written and spoken) for classroom instruction.
Desired Experience
- Minimum 2‑3 years of teaching experience at the senior secondary level (Classes XI & XII).
- Experience in conducting laboratory experiments and managing a fully equipped chemistry lab.
- Demonstrated track record of helping students achieve high results in board examinations and competitive entrance tests.
- Experience in using digital teaching tools, smart classroom technologies, and online assessment platforms.
