Job Responsibilities

Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Chemistry lessons for senior secondary students (Classes XI & XII) in accordance with the NCERT and CBSE curricula.
Design and implement practical laboratory sessions, ensuring safety protocols and fostering a hands‑on learning environment.
Assess student performance through formative and summative evaluations, providing constructive feedback and remedial support where required.
Mentor and guide students for competitive exams such as JEE, NEET, and other state‑level entrance tests.
Participate actively in departmental meetings, curriculum development, and school‑wide academic events.
Collaborate with colleagues from other disciplines to promote interdisciplinary projects and co‑curricular activities.
Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades, and laboratory inventory.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of teaching methodologies and school policies.

Essential Qualifications

Master’s degree or higher in Chemistry (M.Sc./M.Phil./Ph.D.) from a recognized university.
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching certification (e.g., B.Ed. in Science).
Profound knowledge of NCERT and CBSE Chemistry syllabi.
Strong command of English (both written and spoken) for classroom instruction.

Desired Experience

Minimum 2‑3 years of teaching experience at the senior secondary level (Classes XI & XII).
Experience in conducting laboratory experiments and managing a fully equipped chemistry lab.
Demonstrated track record of helping students achieve high results in board examinations and competitive entrance tests.
Experience in using digital teaching tools, smart classroom technologies, and online assessment platforms.
