Role Description The Travel Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru. This role is responsible for designing and managing customized travel itineraries for leisure and business travelers, including booking flights, accommodations, local transportation, and activities. The Travel Specialist will consult with clients to understand their preferences and budget, provide destination guidance, and suggest tailored experiences. Daily tasks include handling inquiries, responding to emails and calls, coordinating travel changes, ensuring accurate documentation, and maintaining up-to-date knowledge of travel trends, regulations, and safety guidelines. The role also involves collaborating with vendors and partners, resolving travel-related issues promptly, and delivering high-quality customer service throughout the travel lifecycle.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Travel Arrangements and Travel Management for both leisure and Business Travel.
- Candidates should possess excellent Communication and Customer Service skills to interact effectively with clients and partners.
- Candidates should have good organizational and time-management abilities to handle multiple bookings and deadlines.
- Candidates should be proficient with travel booking tools, online reservation systems, and basic office software.
- Prior experience in a travel agency or corporate travel environment is preferred.
- Knowledge of popular domestic and international destinations and current travel regulations is beneficial.
- A diploma or degree in Travel & Tourism, Hospitality, or a related field is an advantage.
- Ability to work collaboratively in an on-site team environment in Bengaluru.
