Role Description The Tele-counselor role is a full-time, on-site position based in Noida. The Tele-counselor will handle inbound and outbound calls to guide prospective students and families about MBBS opportunities in Russia and other countries, including eligibility, admission processes, and university options. Day-to-day tasks include providing accurate information, addressing queries, maintaining detailed records in CRM or similar systems, and following up with leads to support them through each step of the counseling and enrollment journey. The role involves coordinating with internal teams for documentation, event or seminar scheduling, and ensuring a positive, professional experience for every student. The Tele-counselor is expected to meet counseling and conversion targets while upholding Rus Education’s student-first values.
Qualifications
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including clear telephone etiquette and the ability to explain complex information in simple terms.
- Customer service and counseling abilities, with experience in handling student or client queries, building trust, and providing guidance through decision-making.
- Basic computer literacy and proficiency with CRM systems, email, and office productivity tools for data entry, tracking leads, and preparing simple reports.
- Organizational and time management skills to prioritize calls, follow-ups, and documentation while meeting daily and monthly targets.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment with attention to accuracy and adherence to company policies.
- Fluency in English and Hindi; additional regional languages are an advantage.
- Minimum educational qualification: graduate degree in any discipline; prior experience in education counseling, sales, or call-center roles is preferred.
- Interest in the education sector and willingness to learn about overseas medical education, admission requirements, and regulatory guidelines.
