Role Description The Academic Counselor – Business Analytics & Data Analytics is a full-time, on-site role based in Noida. The counselor will guide prospective and current learners in choosing suitable programs in Business Analytics and Data Analytics, conduct one-on-one counseling sessions, and support learners in understanding curriculum, career paths, and skill requirements. Day-to-day activities include academic advising, tracking learner progress, coordinating with faculty and placement teams, and organizing information sessions or workshops related to career opportunities in analytics. The role also involves maintaining accurate records of learner interactions, providing timely follow-up, and contributing to continuous improvement of counseling processes to enhance learner outcomes.
Qualifications
- Strong Student Counseling and Career Counseling skills to support learners in making informed academic and career decisions.
- Experience with Academic Advising and Education-focused guidance, particularly in Business Analytics and Data Analytics programs.
- Excellent Communication skills, including clear verbal and written communication with learners, faculty, and hiring partners.
- Ability to build rapport with diverse learner populations and demonstrate empathy, professionalism, and integrity in all interactions.
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Psychology, Business, Data/Analytics, or a related field; a postgraduate qualification is an advantage.
- Understanding of data and business analytics career paths, industry trends, and required competencies; prior experience in an academic or training environment is preferred.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities, with proficiency in using digital tools and CRM or student management systems.
- Willingness to work on-site in Noida and collaborate in a team-oriented, outcome-driven environment.
