Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Senior Admissions Counselor role based in Bengaluru. The Senior Admissions Counselor supports prospective learners through the entire admissions journey, from initial inquiry to enrollment across Futurense’s academic and global pathway programs. Responsibilities include conducting counseling sessions, explaining program offerings and eligibility criteria, guiding applicants through documentation and admission processes, and responding to queries via phone, email, and in-person meetings. The role involves collaborating with academic and marketing teams to run outreach initiatives, participate in events and info sessions, and maintain accurate records of leads and conversions in CRM systems. The Senior Admissions Counselor is expected to meet admissions targets, provide a high-standard applicant experience, and represent Futurense’s values and mission in all interactions.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Communication and Interpersonal Communication skills, with the ability to engage clearly and empathetically with diverse applicants and stakeholders.
- Candidates should possess solid Customer Service capabilities to handle queries, resolve concerns, and ensure a positive admissions experience throughout the application cycle.
- Candidates should possess Sales-related skills, including lead nurturing, conversion-focused discussions, and comfort working with targets in an education context.
- Candidates should possess an understanding of the Education domain, preferably with prior experience in admissions, counseling, or academic program management.
- Additional beneficial qualifications include proficiency with CRM or admissions management tools, strong organizational and time-management skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- A bachelor’s degree in any discipline (fields such as Education, Management, Psychology, or related areas are preferred), along with prior experience in admissions or student counseling, is highly desirable.
