Role Description The Psychologist Academic Counselor will provide individualized and group counseling to students and learners, supporting their mental health, academic progress, and overall wellbeing. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting psychological assessments, offering student counseling, and guiding learners through academic and career decisions. The role involves developing and delivering workshops on study skills, stress management, and career planning, as well as collaborating with educators to create supportive learning environments. The counselor will maintain accurate case records, follow ethical guidelines, and refer individuals to specialized services when needed. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Noida.
Qualifications
- Ability to provide Student Counseling and Academic Advising, supporting learners with personal, academic, and adjustment concerns.
- Strong Communication skills for building rapport, conducting sessions, and coordinating with faculty, families, and other stakeholders.
- Experience or training in Career Counseling to help learners explore options, set goals, and plan pathways aligned with their strengths.
- Background in Education or related fields, with understanding of academic environments and learner development.
- Master’s degree in Psychology, Counseling, Clinical Psychology, or a closely related discipline from a recognized institution.
- Relevant certifications or licenses (where applicable) in counseling or psychology practice, and adherence to professional ethics.
- Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive information confidentially and work with diverse populations in a non-judgmental manner.
- Comfort with basic digital tools for scheduling, documentation, and online resources; prior experience in an academic or training setting is an advantage.
