Role Description The Tekla Modeler will be responsible for creating accurate 3D models and detailed drawings for structural steel projects using Tekla Structures. Day-to-day tasks include interpreting design drawings and specifications, modeling connections and assemblies, coordinating with engineers and detailers, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and client requirements. The role also involves checking and revising models, generating shop and erection drawings, and collaborating with project teams to resolve design and coordination issues. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Kozhikode, requiring close interaction with local team members and adherence to project schedules and quality guidelines.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong proficiency in Tekla Structures modeling and steel detailing, including 3D modeling of structural elements and connections.
- Candidates should possess skills in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, fabrication standards, and construction specifications.
- Candidates should possess skills in quality checking, revision control, and coordination of drawings and models with project stakeholders.
- Candidates should possess basic knowledge of related steel detailing software and tools (e.g., SDS2, AutoCAD, or similar) to support project workflows.
- Candidates should possess strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, on-site environment.
- Candidates should possess a diploma or degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field; prior experience in steel detailing or Tekla modeling is highly beneficial.
- Candidates should possess a detail-oriented mindset, ability to meet deadlines, and willingness to learn and adapt to evolving technologies and standards.
