Role Description The Teacher Trainer – English is a full-time, on-site role based in Indore. The role involves conducting training sessions and workshops for English teachers on effective pedagogy, classroom strategies, and the use of Next Education’s products and resources. The Teacher Trainer will design and deliver training content, demonstrate best practices in lesson planning and assessment, and provide ongoing support, feedback, and mentoring to teachers. Responsibilities include observing classroom teaching when needed, gathering training feedback, aligning training materials with curriculum standards, and collaborating with internal academic and product teams to refine training approaches. The position also requires preparing reports and documentation on training outcomes and participating in academic events and initiatives organized by the company.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Teaching and Training skills to facilitate effective workshops, demonstrations, and mentoring for English teachers.
- Candidates should possess solid Lesson Planning and Education skills to design structured, curriculum-aligned training materials and classroom practices.
- Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills, including clear spoken and written English, to present complex concepts and interact with diverse stakeholders.
- Relevant academic background such as a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in English, Education, or a related field, and formal teacher training qualifications (e.g., B.Ed., TEFL/TESOL or equivalent) are beneficial.
- Prior experience as an English teacher or teacher trainer at the K–12 level, familiarity with CBSE/ICSE and state board curricula, and comfort with using edtech platforms and digital teaching tools are advantageous.
- Ability to conduct interactive sessions, manage groups, travel to partner schools as required, and maintain detailed training records and reports is preferred.
