Role Description The German Teacher role is a full-time, on-site position based in Indore. The German Teacher will plan and deliver engaging German language lessons tailored to different proficiency levels, focusing on both communication skills and exam readiness. Responsibilities include designing lesson plans, preparing teaching materials, assessing learner progress, and providing individualized feedback and tutoring support. The role also involves conducting group training sessions aligned with students’ higher education, Ausbildung, and internship goals in Germany, as well as collaborating with the counseling and admissions teams to integrate language learning with broader student pathways. The teacher is expected to maintain a learner-centered environment, use modern teaching methods and tools, and participate in ongoing curriculum improvement.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong German Teaching and Tutoring skills, with the ability to support learners across beginner to advanced levels.
- Candidates should possess Teaching and Education skills, including lesson planning, classroom management, and learner assessment.
- Candidates should possess Training skills with experience delivering structured language programs, workshops, or exam preparation sessions.
- Proficiency in German (preferably B2 or higher, with certification such as Goethe, TestDaF, or equivalent) and solid command of English for instruction and communication.
- Bachelor’s degree in Languages, Education, or a related field; formal teacher training or pedagogical certification is an advantage.
- Experience teaching German in classroom or coaching settings, ideally to learners preparing for study, work, or vocational training in Germany.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills, with the ability to support diverse learners in an inclusive and respectful manner.
- Comfort using digital tools for teaching (presentations, online resources, language learning platforms) and a willingness to adopt new methods.
