Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Cambridge Accounting Teacher role based in Chennai. The Teacher will design and deliver engaging lessons that align with the school’s holistic and international curriculum, incorporating creative and experiential learning methods. Daily responsibilities include preparing lesson plans, teaching classes, assessing student progress, providing constructive feedback, and maintaining a positive, inclusive classroom environment. The Teacher will collaborate with colleagues to plan interdisciplinary learning experiences, participate in staff meetings and professional development, and contribute to school events and co-curricular activities. The role also involves guiding learners’ social and emotional development, communicating regularly with parents and guardians, and supporting the school’s vision of nurturing responsible global citizens.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in the subject, with experience in Teaching and Training in international schools.
- Ability to create structured, age-appropriate Lesson Planning that supports holistic learning.
- Excellent Communication skills for interacting with students, families, and colleagues.
- Relevant academic qualification in Commerce and accounting or a subject specialization (Bachelor’s or Master’s degree preferred).
- Experience or interest in international curricula (such as Cambridge or similar) is an advantage.
- Ability to integrate creative, experiential, and inquiry-based approaches into classroom teaching.
- Willingness to participate actively in residential school life, co-curricular programs, and community initiatives.
