Job details:
At Meolaa, tech isn't a cost centre. It's the backbone. We're building D2C infrastructure, marketplace integrations, supply chain systems, and data pipelines that need to be bulletproof. We need someone who understands what good engineering looks like, can source talent in a competitive market, and can move fast without hiring people who'll slow us down.
The reality is you own the engineering hiring roadmap, and you own the quality bar.
What does that actually mean?
It means on Monday you're on the phone with a Backend engineer who just got an offer from Stripe, and you need to convince them Meolaa's tech problem is more interesting.
On Tuesday you're breaking down the CTO's roadmap into hiring needs โ how many DevOps engineers do we need for Q2?
On Wednesday you're doing final interviews with your top 3 candidates for the role and making the call.
On Thursday you're handling competing offers and negotiating with candidates who have leverage.
On Friday you're presenting your hiring pipeline to the CTO, pipeline health, quality of candidates, time-to-hire trends.
No two weeks look the same. But every week you're moving the needle on team composition.
