Role Description The Supply Chain Manager – Pan India Operations is a full-time on-site role based in Kolkata. This role is responsible for overseeing end-to-end supply chain operations across India, including demand planning, procurement, inventory control, and distribution. The Supply Chain Manager will monitor stock levels, optimize replenishment, and coordinate with manufacturing, warehousing, and logistics partners to ensure timely product availability. Daily tasks include analyzing data to forecast demand, managing vendor relationships, negotiating terms, and implementing process improvements to reduce costs and enhance service levels. The role also involves collaborating with cross-functional teams such as sales, marketing, and finance to align supply chain plans with business goals and support the brand’s expansion.
Qualifications
- Strong Demand Planning and Analytical Skills to forecast requirements and interpret operational data.
- Expertise in Supply Management and Procurement to manage suppliers, contracts, and sourcing strategies.
- Proficiency in Inventory Management to maintain optimal stock levels and reduce waste.
- Experience in end-to-end supply chain operations across multiple regions, preferably Pan India.
- Knowledge of FMCG or consumer products, ideally hygiene or personal care categories.
- Ability to use ERP and supply chain planning tools; advanced Excel skills are an advantage.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Engineering, Business, or a related field; a relevant postgraduate qualification or professional certification is a plus.
- Proven experience in a supply chain leadership role, managing multi-location operations.
