Role Description The Senior Supply Chain Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Pune City. This role is responsible for overseeing end-to-end supply chain operations, including demand planning, procurement, inventory management, and supply management across multiple locations. Day-to-day tasks include analyzing operational data, developing and implementing optimization strategies, monitoring key performance indicators, and ensuring adherence to risk, compliance, and quality standards. The Senior Supply Chain Manager will collaborate with cross-functional teams, lead continuous improvement initiatives, manage supplier and partner relationships, and support strategic decision-making aligned with company objectives. This role also involves mentoring team members, standardizing processes, and driving technology-enabled solutions to improve efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Demand Planning and Analytical Skills to forecast requirements, interpret data, and drive performance improvements.
- Candidates should possess Supply Management and Procurement skills to manage vendors, negotiate contracts, and ensure reliable and cost-effective sourcing.
- Candidates should possess Inventory Management skills to optimize stock levels, reduce obsolescence, and ensure product availability across locations.
- Relevant experience in end-to-end supply chain operations, preferably in a multi-site or pan-India environment.
- Proficiency with supply chain management systems, ERP tools, and data analysis software.
- Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills, with the ability to drive cross-functional collaboration.
- Bachelor’s or Masters degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Engineering, Business, or a related field; a master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., APICS, CSCP, CPSM) is an advantage.
- Proven track record in process improvement, cost optimization, and implementing technology-enabled supply chain solutions.
