Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Supply Chain Management role based in New Delhi. The role involves planning and coordinating procurement activities for construction and solar project materials, equipment, and services. The Supply Chain professional will manage vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and ensure timely delivery of materials to project sites. Daily responsibilities include monitoring inventory levels, tracking material usage, and optimizing logistics to reduce costs and delays. The role also requires maintaining accurate documentation, collaborating with project managers and engineering teams, and supporting continuous improvement in supply chain processes.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Supply Chain Management and Procurement skills, including vendor evaluation, contract negotiation, and sourcing of construction and solar materials.
- Candidates should possess Inventory Management skills, with experience in stock control, demand forecasting, and materials planning for project-based environments.
- Candidates should possess Analytical Skills to interpret data, assess risks, optimize costs, and support decision-making across projects and suppliers.
- Candidates should possess effective Communication skills to collaborate with internal stakeholders, negotiate with suppliers, and prepare clear reports and documentation.
- Relevant qualifications such as a bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Engineering, Business, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CSCP, CPSM) are an advantage.
- Experience in construction, infrastructure, or renewable energy projects, familiarity with ERP or supply chain software, and knowledge of local regulatory and compliance requirements in India are beneficial.
- Ability to work on-site in New Delhi, manage multiple projects simultaneously, maintain high attention to detail, and uphold safety and ethical standards.
