Role Description The Speech Therapist will provide comprehensive assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for individuals with speech, language, and communication disorders in an on-site setting in Nellore. This full-time role involves conducting detailed evaluations, developing individualized treatment plans, and delivering evidence-based therapy to clients across age groups. The Speech Therapist will collaborate with psychologists, psychiatrists, and other clinicians to support clients with emotional, behavioral, and wellness needs that intersect with speech and communication challenges. Daily responsibilities include documenting progress, educating clients and families on therapy goals and home practice, and participating in multidisciplinary case discussions. The role also involves contributing to awareness initiatives and wellness programs that integrate speech and communication support with mental and sexual health services.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Speech Therapy for assessment, treatment planning, and intervention.
- Candidates should possess expertise in managing Speech and Communication Disorders across diverse age groups.
- Candidates should possess skills in diagnosing and treating Language Disorders, including expressive and receptive language difficulties.
- Candidates should possess clinical competence in the evaluation and management of Dysphagia and related swallowing issues.
- Recognized degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Speech and Hearing (Bachelor’s or Master’s) from an accredited institution.
- Relevant licensing or registration as required by local regulatory authorities.
- Experience working in clinical, hospital, or mental health settings, preferably with multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong interpersonal, counseling, and communication skills, with sensitivity to emotional and sexual health concerns.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality, ethical practice, and accurate clinical documentation.
- Comfort using digital tools for records, scheduling, and collaboration; proficiency in local languages and English is an advantage.
