Role Description The Child Psychologist is a full-time, on-site role based in Nellore, focused on providing evidence-based psychological care to children and adolescents. Responsibilities include conducting comprehensive psychological assessments, developing and implementing individualized treatment plans, and offering therapy for emotional, behavioral, developmental, and academic concerns. The role involves collaborating with families, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals to support a child’s overall well-being, as well as providing psychoeducation and guidance to parents or guardians. The Child Psychologist will maintain detailed clinical documentation, adhere to ethical and legal standards of practice, and participate in case discussions, clinical meetings, and ongoing professional development. The position may also support broader Happyyou247 services through consultation, internal training, and wellness initiatives for students and families.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Psychology and Mental Health, with demonstrated experience working with children and adolescents.
- Proficiency in Psychological Testing and assessment tools appropriate for pediatric populations.
- Skills in Family Therapy and parent/caregiver counseling to support holistic care.
- Relevant background in Medicine or child and adolescent psychiatry collaboration is an advantage.
- Master’s degree or higher in Clinical Psychology, Child Psychology, or a related field; valid registration or license as applicable.
- Experience in clinical or school-based settings, with knowledge of developmental and behavioral disorders.
- Excellent communication, empathy, and rapport-building skills, with the ability to work in a multidisciplinary team.
- Commitment to ethical practice, confidentiality, cultural sensitivity, and continuous learning.
