Role Description The Speech Language Pathologist will work on-site in Karnataka, India in a full-time capacity, providing assessment, diagnosis, and therapy for individuals with speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting standardized evaluations, developing individualized treatment plans, and delivering therapy sessions across age groups. The role involves close collaboration with audiologists and other clinical staff to coordinate care for clients with combined hearing and speech challenges. The Speech Language Pathologist will document clinical findings, monitor progress, educate clients and families on therapy goals and strategies, and participate in case discussions and quality improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
- Strong clinical skills in Speech Therapy and management of Speech disorders.
- Expertise in assessing and treating Language Disorders and Communication Disorders.
- Experience in evaluating and providing intervention for Dysphagia and related swallowing difficulties.
- Recognized degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Audiology & Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
- Relevant professional registration or licensure as required by local regulations in India.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary clinical environment and communicate clearly with clients and families.
- Strong documentation skills and familiarity with evidence-based assessment and treatment protocols.
- Prior experience in a speech and hearing clinic or similar healthcare setting is an advantage.
