We're Hiring: Senior SolidWorks Design Engineer – Weldments & Structural Design
Experience: 5+ Years

Location: On-site
We are seeking an experienced Senior SolidWorks Design Engineer with a strong background in Weldments and Structural Design to join our engineering team.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop welded structures using SolidWorks Weldments.
- Create detailed 3D models, fabrication drawings, and manufacturing documentation.
- Design structural frames, machine bases, skids, platforms, support structures, and heavy fabricated assemblies.
- Generate BOMs, cut lists, and weldment profiles.
- Ensure designs comply with relevant engineering and fabrication standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize designs for manufacturability, cost, and performance.
Required Skills
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in SolidWorks, with strong expertise in the Weldments module.
- Proven experience designing welded steel structures and fabricated assemblies.
- Strong understanding of structural members, steel fabrication, machining, and welding processes.
- Proficiency in creating manufacturing drawings with GD&T.
- Experience working with large assemblies and engineering documentation.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
- Experience in industrial equipment, material handling systems, automation, heavy machinery, or structural steel design.
- Knowledge of FEA, PDM, and Design for Manufacturing (DFM) is an advantage.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for executing and leading the full design process from ideation to production. You will draw new designs and update our current designs. During the creation process, you will ensure that our designs meeting all necessary design responsibilities.

- Ensure our designs meet manufacturing, technical and customer Responsibilities
- Ensure that all design projects are completed within budget and time
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Mechanical Engineering or relevant technical degree
- CAD experience
- Proficient in Solidworks
- Strong organizational and communication skills
