Role Description The Solidworks Design Engineer will work on-site in Noida in a full-time capacity, creating and refining 3D models and detailed engineering drawings for filtration, gas generation, and waste management equipment using Solidworks and other CAD tools. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing product designs, preparing assembly and manufacturing drawings, performing basic design calculations, and ensuring designs meet performance, safety, and regulatory standards. The role involves collaborating closely with R&D, production, and quality teams to translate concepts into manufacturable designs, support prototyping, and resolve design-related issues during fabrication and installation. The engineer will also assist in design documentation, BOM preparation, design revisions, and continuous improvement of existing products based on customer feedback and field performance.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Design Engineering and Product Design skills for creating robust, manufacturable solutions.
- MINIMUM 2 YEARS OF INDUSTRY EXPERIENCE USING SOLIDWORKS
- Candidates should possess Mechanical Engineering expertise for component selection, materials, and basic stress and tolerance considerations.
- Candidates should possess proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD), particularly Solidworks, for 3D modeling, detailing, and assembly design.
- Candidates should possess foundational Electrical Engineering understanding to coordinate with electrical teams on integrated systems and layouts.
- Relevant bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline; diploma with strong hands-on CAD experience may also be considered.
- Experience in industrial machinery, process equipment, or filtration/waste handling systems is highly beneficial.
- Ability to interpret engineering standards, fabrication processes, and GD&T, with good documentation and communication skills.
- Proven ability to work in cross-functional teams on-site, manage multiple projects, and meet design deadlines with attention to detail.
