Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Mechanical Design Engineer role based in Noida. The Mechanical Design Engineer will be responsible for designing and developing mechanical components and systems for oil, gas, water filtration, and waste engineering equipment using CAD tools and industry standards. Day-to-day tasks include creating and reviewing detailed drawings and 3D models, performing design calculations, supporting prototype development, and collaborating with R&D, production, and quality teams to refine designs for manufacturability and performance. The role involves preparing technical documentation, BOMs, and specifications, participating in design reviews, and providing engineering support during installation, testing, and after-sales service. The engineer will be expected to contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, cost optimization, and compliance with relevant safety and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Mechanical Engineering with hands-on skills in Design Engineering and Machine Design.
- Proficiency in Product Design, including concept development, detailing, and design validation.
- Applied experience with Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Inventor or similar) for 2D drafting and 3D modeling.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline; advanced qualifications or relevant certifications are an advantage.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes, materials selection, and tolerance analysis for industrial equipment.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings, standards, and technical specifications, with attention to quality and safety.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams on-site.
- Experience in filtration systems, pressure vessels, rotating machinery, or waste handling equipment is beneficial.
Job Location
Candidate must currently reside in, or be willing to relocate immediately to, Noida or Greater Noida.
