Role Description The Solar Project Coordinator (80MW) is a full-time, on-site role based in New Delhi, responsible for supporting the planning and execution of large-scale solar projects. Day-to-day tasks include coordinating project schedules, tracking milestones, and ensuring effective communication among engineering, procurement, construction, and site teams. The role involves maintaining documentation, preparing progress reports, and assisting with budget and resource tracking for the 80MW project. The coordinator will help arrange site visits, support vendor and contractor coordination, and monitor compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory requirements. This position requires close collaboration with project managers to anticipate risks, resolve issues, and keep the project on time and within scope.
Qualifications
- Ability to coordinate complex project activities, manage timelines, and support project planning and execution for large-scale solar or infrastructure projects.
- Strong skills in documentation, reporting, and basic data analysis, including proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and project tracking tools.
- Knowledge of solar power systems and construction processes, with an understanding of site operations, safety practices, and relevant standards or regulations.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams, vendors, and contractors, including the ability to follow up and resolve issues promptly.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced project environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, renewable energy, project management, or a related field; equivalent practical experience in solar or construction projects is also valued.
- Prior experience in coordinating utility-scale solar projects or large EPC assignments is an advantage.
- Willingness to travel to project sites as needed and work on-site in New Delhi.
