About the Role
We are looking for a proactive and technically sound Technical Project Coordinator to support interior fit-out and construction project execution from drawings to site. The ideal candidate should be confident in understanding architectural and interior drawings, coordinating with site engineers, contractors, and vendors, and representing the company in technical discussions with architects, consultants, and clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct regular site inspections, site audits, and quality checks to ensure work is executed as per approved drawings and project specifications.
- Verify site levels, dimensions, measurements, and execution quality before and during execution.
- Interpret and explain architectural, interior, and AutoCAD drawings to site engineers and contractors.
- Prepare accurate BOQs (Bill of Quantities), quantity take-offs, quantity estimations, and material calculations using AutoCAD and PDF drawings, ensuring alignment with the Master BOQ.
- Attend project meetings and coordinate with architects, consultants, clients, vendors, and project teams.
- Represent senior management during technical discussions, site meetings, and project coordination meetings whenever required.
- Maintain project documentation, progress reports, MOMs (Minutes of Meeting), and provide timely updates to the management.
- Coordinate multiple projects, monitor follow-ups, and ensure timely project execution.
Requirements
- Bachelor's/Diploma in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of architectural drawings, interior drawings, construction drawings, and shop drawings.
- AutoCAD proficiency is mandatory.
- Good knowledge of BOQ preparation, quantity surveying, quantity estimation, and material take-offs.
- Proficiency in Google Sheets and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent communication, coordination, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Professional attitude with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Willingness to travel for site visits, project inspections, and client meetings.
