Role Description The Solar Expert is a full-time on-site role based in Ahmedabad, responsible for supporting the design, evaluation, and implementation of solar energy projects. Daily tasks include conducting site assessments, analyzing energy requirements, selecting appropriate solar system components, and preparing technical proposals and project reports. The role involves coordinating with engineering, installation, and sales teams to ensure accurate system sizing, compliance with standards, and smooth project execution. The Solar Expert will guide customers on system performance, maintenance best practices, and available subsidies, while staying current with industry developments and local regulations. The position also includes monitoring operational performance of installed systems and recommending improvements to enhance efficiency and reliability.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of Solar Power and Solar Systems, including design, configuration, and performance analysis.
- Understanding of the Solar Industry, market trends, and regulatory frameworks relevant to rooftop and commercial installations.
- Experience or familiarity with Power Generation concepts, particularly in distributed energy systems.
- Awareness of Wind Energy and broader renewable energy principles is an advantage.
- Degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related technical field.
- Experience in solar EPC projects, site surveys, and technical documentation.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and safety standards.
- Effective communication and customer interaction skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
- Proficiency in basic design or simulation tools (e.g., PV design software) and MS Office.
- Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and willingness to work on-site in field conditions.
