Role Description This is a full-time, hybrid role for a Collection & Delivery Executive based in Ahmedabad, with some work-from-home flexibility. The role involves coordinating daily collection and delivery of instruments and equipment between customer sites and Micro Precision calibration labs, ensuring timely pickups and drop-offs as per scheduled routes. Responsibilities include maintaining accurate documentation for collected and delivered items, verifying orders against service requests, and updating tracking systems. The executive will communicate with customers and internal teams to confirm schedules, resolve basic logistics issues, and provide status updates. The role also includes handling basic packing, labeling, and safe transport of instruments, supporting inventory checks, and adhering to company safety and quality procedures.
Qualifications
- Logistics and coordination skills, including route planning, scheduling, and basic inventory handling.
- Customer service and communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients and internal teams.
- Attention to detail and documentation skills for accurate record-keeping, labeling, and tracking of equipment.
- Basic understanding of technical or industrial environments; prior exposure to calibration, engineering, or laboratory settings is an advantage.
- Ability to work in a hybrid setup from Ahmedabad, manage time effectively, and follow safety and quality guidelines.
- Valid driver’s license (if driving is required), with a clean driving record and familiarity with local routes preferred.
- Minimum high school diploma; vocational or technical training in logistics, operations, or related fields is beneficial.
- Basic computer skills for using email, spreadsheets, and tracking systems; willingness to learn company-specific tools.
