Job Resonsibilities:
1. Process Discovery and Mapping
- Sit with each department (Sales, Service, Operations, Quality, Finance, HR) and document how work actually happens today, step by step.
- Identify the manual, repetitive, duplicated and error prone steps that are worth automating.
- Map current and proposed process flows, and quantify the time, cost or errors each change saves.
- Maintain one prioritised backlog of process improvement and automation opportunities.
2. AI and Automation Build
- Design and build automations across existing tools (CRM, Service app, Excel, email, Teams, RMS) to remove manual steps.
- Build AI based solutions such as assistants, document and data processing, summarisation and drafting or specific team workflows.
- Integrate systems so data flows between them without manual re entry.
- Pilot, test and improve each solution with the team before full rollout.
3. Data, Reporting and MIS
- Automate recurring reports and MIS so leadership sees live, accurate data instead of manually built sheets.
- Build simple dashboards for key functions such as Service, Sales, Production and Quality.
- Ensure every automation keeps CRM as the single source of truth.
4. Enablement and Adoption
- Train teams to use the AI tools and automations built for them.
- Write clear, short SOPs and guides so usage sticks after handover.
- Track adoption, and fix or rebuild whatever is not being used.
5. Project Delivery and Tracking
- Own each automation project end to end, from idea to live use.
- Keep a transparent tracker with status, owner and next step for every initiative.
- Report progress and blockers to the CEO in short, regular updates.
6. Tooling and Security Awareness
- Stay current on the AI tools and automation platforms relevant to Tirex.
- Recommend the right tool for each problem, balancing cost, speed and security.
- Flag data privacy and security considerations before any tool goes live.
7. Skills and Knowledge
a) Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, business or a related field.
- Any certification or hands on project work in AI tools, automation or data is a plus.
b) Work Experience
- 1 to 4 years of total work experience.
- Hands on experience with AI tools and automation platforms, built through work, internships or personal projects.
c) Skills and Attributes
- Well versed in AI tools and automation platforms, and quick to pick up new ones.
- Understands how a business and its processes work end to end.
- Comfortable with data. Spreadsheets, basic scripting and dashboards.
- Clear communicator. Can sit with any team and explain things simply.
- Strong ownership and a can do attitude. Finds a way to get things done.
- Organised. Can run several initiatives at once and track them to closure.
