Role Description The Site Incharge will oversee day-to-day civil construction activities for the NTPC Nabinagar project, specifically ash handling plant silo building and foundation works. Responsibilities include planning and supervising site execution, coordinating with engineers, contractors, and workers, and ensuring adherence to approved drawings, specifications, and safety standards. The role involves monitoring progress, managing resources and materials, handling site documentation, and reporting project status to senior management. The Site Incharge will also troubleshoot technical issues, ensure quality control, and support compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements. This is a full-time, on-site role located in Gorakhpur.
Qualifications
- Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized institution.
- 8–12 years of experience in industrial civil construction, with proven work on ash handling plant, silo buildings, and foundation structures.
- Strong ability to read and interpret civil drawings, structural designs, and technical specifications.
- Experience in site supervision, contractor management, and coordination with multidisciplinary project teams.
- Knowledge of construction quality control, safety practices, and applicable codes and standards.
- Proficiency in basic project planning, progress tracking, and reporting (MS Office and standard construction documentation).
- Effective communication and leadership skills, with the ability to guide and motivate site personnel.
- Willingness to work on-site in Gorakhpur and manage demanding project schedules.
- Experience with power plant or large industrial projects is an added advantage.
