Role Description The Service Engineer – Hydraulics will provide on-site support for hydraulic equipment and systems, ensuring reliable operation and adherence to safety and quality standards. This full-time role is based in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region and involves routine inspections, installation assistance, maintenance, and repair of hydraulic components and machinery. The role includes diagnosing faults, performing troubleshooting, and coordinating with internal teams to resolve technical issues efficiently. The Service Engineer will visit customer sites, deliver field service interventions, maintain service documentation, and communicate clearly with clients regarding work performed and recommended actions. The position also involves supporting technical inquiries, providing basic training to operators on proper use and care of hydraulic systems, and contributing feedback for product and process improvements.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Troubleshooting skills for hydraulic systems and related mechanical components.
- Candidates should possess Field Service experience, including on-site visits, customer interaction, and adherence to safety protocols.
- Candidates should possess effective Communication skills for explaining technical issues, preparing reports, and collaborating with customers and colleagues.
- Candidates should possess Technical Support capabilities, including diagnosing issues, recommending solutions, and guiding users in proper equipment operation.
- Candidates should possess Maintenance & Repair skills for hydraulic equipment, including preventive maintenance, component replacement, and system testing.
- Relevant qualifications such as a diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
- Knowledge of hydraulic circuits, industrial machinery, and basic electrical systems is highly beneficial.
- Ability to read technical drawings and manuals, and familiarity with standard tools, measuring instruments, and safety practices.
- Willingness to travel within the Mumbai Metropolitan Region and occasionally to other locations as required.
