Role Description The Service Engineer will be responsible for providing on-site technical support, installation, commissioning, and maintenance of conveyor and coolant management systems at customer locations in the Pune/Pimpri-Chinchwad area. Day-to-day tasks include diagnosing equipment issues, performing preventive and corrective maintenance, and ensuring timely resolution of breakdowns to minimize downtime. The role involves regular field visits, coordination with internal engineering and service teams, and clear communication with customers regarding service status, recommendations, and safety guidelines. The Service Engineer will maintain service documentation, prepare reports, and support continuous improvement initiatives related to equipment performance and customer satisfaction. This is a full-time, on-site role.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong troubleshooting and technical support skills for electromechanical and hydraulic systems.
- Candidates should possess field service experience, including on-site installation, commissioning, and customer-facing service activities.
- Candidates should possess maintenance and repair skills for industrial machinery, conveyors, and related automation equipment.
- Candidates should possess effective communication skills for interacting with customers, vendors, and internal teams.
- Diploma or degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics Engineering (or related field).
- Knowledge of industrial automation, CNC machine environments, and safety standards is beneficial.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, manuals, and schematics, and use standard diagnostic tools.
- Willingness to travel within the region, work on shop floors, and respond to urgent service calls when required.
