Role Description The Service Engineer role at Russell Finex Ltd is a full-time, on-site position based in Vadodara. The Service Engineer is responsible for installing, commissioning, and servicing sieving and filtration equipment at customer facilities, ensuring optimal performance and adherence to technical standards. Day-to-day tasks include diagnosing equipment issues, performing routine and preventive maintenance, conducting repairs, and providing technical support and training to customers and internal teams. The role also involves preparing service reports, coordinating with the sales and engineering teams on customer feedback, and maintaining a high level of safety and compliance during all field activities. This position requires regular travel to customer sites and a strong focus on customer satisfaction and efficient resolution of technical problems.
Qualifications
- Strong troubleshooting and technical support skills to diagnose, analyze, and resolve equipment issues efficiently.
- Hands-on experience in field service, with the ability to work independently at customer sites and manage on-site activities.
- Proficiency in maintenance & repair of mechanical and/or electro-mechanical industrial equipment.
- Clear and professional communication skills for interacting with customers, colleagues, and stakeholders.
- Diploma or degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or related engineering discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
- Knowledge of industrial machinery, process equipment, or filtration/sieving systems is highly beneficial.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, manuals, and specifications, and use standard diagnostic tools and instruments.
- Commitment to workplace safety, quality standards, and accurate documentation of service activities.
- Willingness to travel regularly at pan India.
