Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Service Engineer role based in Ahmedabad. The Service Engineer will install, commission, and service heat pump and water softener systems at customer locations. Daily responsibilities include diagnosing technical issues, performing preventive and corrective maintenance, and ensuring systems operate safely and efficiently. The role involves responding to service calls, providing technical guidance to customers, documenting work performed, and coordinating with the internal team to schedule visits and manage spare parts. The Service Engineer is expected to maintain clear, professional communication with customers and uphold Powerlink Enterprise’s standards of quality and safety.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Troubleshooting and Technical Support skills for diagnosing and resolving system issues.
- Candidates should possess hands-on Field Service and Maintenance & Repair skills for on-site installation and servicing of equipment.
- Candidates should possess effective Communication skills for interacting with customers and coordinating with internal teams.
- Relevant technical diploma or degree in mechanical, electrical, or instrumentation engineering is preferred.
- Experience working with HVAC, plumbing, or similar residential systems is an advantage.
- Ability to read technical manuals, follow safety procedures, and maintain accurate service records.
- Willingness to travel locally within Ahmedabad and work in customer premises as needed.
