Role Description The Service Engineer role is a full-time, on-site position based in Noida. This role is responsible for performing routine and corrective maintenance, diagnosing technical issues, and repairing equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime. The Service Engineer will visit customer sites, install and commission systems, provide technical support, and document service activities and reports accurately. The role involves collaborating with internal teams and customers to address service requests, explain technical findings in clear terms, and recommend improvements or preventive measures. The Service Engineer is also expected to follow safety standards, maintain tools and equipment in good working order, and support continuous improvement of service processes.
Qualifications
- Strong Troubleshooting and Technical Support skills to diagnose and resolve equipment and system issues efficiently.
- Hands-on experience in Field Service, including on-site visits, installations, and customer-facing technical work.
- Proficiency in Maintenance & Repair of mechanical and/or electronic systems, with the ability to perform scheduled and emergency service tasks.
- Effective Communication skills for interacting with customers and internal teams, including clear reporting and documentation of service activities.
- Relevant technical education, such as a diploma or degree in engineering (e.g., electrical, electronics, mechanical, or related field).
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and service documentation.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities, with attention to detail and adherence to safety procedures.
- Experience in a similar service or engineering role is preferred; familiarity with industry-specific equipment is an advantage.
