Role Description: The Service Engineer role is a full-time, on-site position based in Delhi, India. The Service Engineer will perform installation, commissioning, inspection, and preventive maintenance of compressed air and fluid energy equipment at customer locations. Day-to-day responsibilities include diagnosing technical issues, executing repairs, and providing field service and technical support to ensure minimal downtime and safe operation of systems. The role involves preparing service reports, maintaining documentation, and coordinating with internal teams to ensure timely resolution of customer requirements. The Service Engineer will interact regularly with customers, explain service procedures, and support training on proper usage and maintenance of equipment.
Note: This position is strictly for candidates based in Delhi NCR (Delhi, Noida, Gurgaon, Haryana). Applications from outside this region will not be considered.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Troubleshooting and Technical Support skills for compressed air and fluid energy systems.
- Candidates should possess Field Service experience, including on-site visits, installation, and customer-facing service activities.
- Candidates should possess Maintenance & Repair skills for mechanical, pneumatic, and related equipment.
- Candidates should possess effective Communication skills for coordinating with customers, vendors, and internal teams.
- Diploma or degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or related engineering field is preferred.
- Working knowledge of industrial safety practices and relevant tools and instruments is beneficial.
- Ability to read technical drawings, manuals, and schematics, and to maintain clear service documentation.
- Willingness to travel to customer sites within the region and manage multiple service assignments.
