Role Description The Server role is a full-time, on-site position based in Madurai. The Server is responsible for greeting patients and visitors, taking food and beverage orders, and delivering items promptly and accurately. Daily tasks include setting up and clearing tables, maintaining cleanliness in service areas, and ensuring that patients, families, and staff receive courteous, timely service. The Server coordinates with the kitchen and other support teams, manages basic billing or order records, and follows hygiene and safety protocols appropriate for a healthcare setting. The role requires consistent professionalism, clear communication, and a supportive attitude toward patients and colleagues.
Qualifications
- Service and hospitality skills, including courteous customer interaction, order taking, and patient-facing support.
- Basic food and beverage handling skills, with attention to hygiene, safety, and cleanliness standards.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients, families, and medical staff.
- Ability to follow procedures, manage multiple orders, and maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
- Prior experience in hospitality, healthcare food service, or a similar service role is preferred.
- Ability to stand for extended periods, move safely within clinical and service areas, and handle light lifting as required.
- Reliable, punctual, and comfortable working in a structured, team-oriented environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in hospitality or healthcare service is an advantage.
