ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking a Senior CrowdStrike Security Engineer with 7+ years of experience to manage both threat & vulnerability management and EDR solution operations on our CrowdStrike Falcon platform. Working a Japan-shift schedule, you will handle scan registration, firewall blocking requests, and agent upgrades alongside EDR client verification, certificate renewals, and coordinated terminal/golden-image version upgrades — keeping our endpoint security posture current, well-documented, and responsive to stakeholder needs.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Threat & Vulnerability Management
- Process scan registration requests for vulnerability scanning coverage
- Handle requests for blocking via firewall in response to identified threats or vulnerabilities
- Manage agent version upgrades across scanned endpoints and servers
- Provide follow-up support to users on scanning, agent, and remediation issues
- Verify the impact of ServiceNow patch applications and change requests on the vulnerability management environment
- Prepare incident reports for vulnerability and threat management events
EDR Solution Management
- Perform client verifications for EDR agent health and coverage
- Manage ADFS certificate renewals
- Support server deployment activities for EDR agents and related infrastructure
- Coordinate AIS verification terminal version upgrades
- Coordinate AWS golden image version upgrades
- Perform supplier information verifications
- Support group company terminal version upgrade activities
- Prepare incident reports for EDR events
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 7+ years of experience in security operations, including substantial hands-on administration of the CrowdStrike Falcon platform — both Falcon Exposure Management (Spotlight) for vulnerability management and Falcon Insight (EDR/XDR) for endpoint detection and response
- Experience with scan registration and coverage management within a CrowdStrike vulnerability management environment
- Familiarity with firewall change/blocking request processes and coordinating with network security teams
- Experience with Falcon sensor/agent version upgrades and lifecycle management across endpoints and servers
- Experience providing end-user follow-up support for scanning, agent, and remediation issues
- Working knowledge of ServiceNow for tracking patch management and change requests, including verifying downstream impact
- Experience with EDR client/agent verification and troubleshooting across endpoints, servers, and terminals
- Experience managing ADFS certificate renewals and related identity federation components
- Experience supporting server deployments and endpoint agent installation
- Experience managing AWS golden image version upgrades for endpoint agents
- Experience verifying supplier/vendor information and coordinating terminal version upgrade support across group/affiliate companies
- Experience drafting clear, accurate security incident reports
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow documented change/request procedures accurately
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for stakeholder coordination and inquiry handling
- Business-level English proficiency (required)
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Japanese language proficiency preferred, to support direct coordination with Japan-based stakeholders during Japan business hours
- CrowdStrike certification (e.g., CCFA/CCFR)
- Experience with ServiceNow Security Operations (SecOps) or Vulnerability Response modules
- Experience with AWS infrastructure and golden image pipelines
- Prior experience supporting a financial services or insurance client's security operations
