We are seeking a Sr. Backend Engineer to join a lean, remote engineering team based in India. This role offers the opportunity to work in a high-ownership, 0-to-1 engineering environment focused on building SaaS solutions for the freight and logistics industry.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain backend systems with a tech-agnostic approach across the stack.
- Contribute to building scalable software solutions that automate freight visibility and communication for brokers and carriers.
- Collaborate closely with a small, agile team to deliver impactful features for live US customers in the freight technology space.
- Take ownership of projects in a fast-growing, profitable company environment.
Requirements:
- 4 to 7 years of professional backend engineering experience.
- Strong preference for candidates with experience in supply chain, logistics, or freight-adjacent SaaS products.
- Ability to thrive in a startup-like, high-ownership culture.
- Comfortable working remotely within India.
