Role Description The Senior Supply Chain Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Abroad. This position is responsible for overseeing end-to-end supply chain operations, including demand forecasting, procurement, inventory control, and supplier management to support the organization’s service delivery. Day-to-day tasks include analyzing demand patterns, coordinating with vendors, optimizing inventory levels, and ensuring timely availability of materials and resources. The role also involves monitoring key supply chain metrics, identifying process improvements, negotiating contracts, and collaborating with finance and operations teams to maintain cost efficiency. The Senior Supply Chain Manager will lead and mentor team members, implement best practices, and ensure compliance with internal policies and quality standards.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Demand Planning and Analytical Skills to forecast requirements, interpret data, and support decision-making.
- Candidates should possess solid Supply Management and Procurement skills to manage vendors, negotiate contracts, and ensure timely and cost-effective sourcing.
- Candidates should possess effective Inventory Management skills to maintain optimal stock levels, minimize wastage, and support uninterrupted operations.
- Experience in supply chain management within services or consulting environments is beneficial.
- Proven leadership abilities, including team management, cross-functional collaboration, and stakeholder communication.
- Strong problem-solving, organizational, and time-management skills, with attention to detail and process orientation.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Business, or a related field; a relevant postgraduate qualification or professional certification (e.g., APICS, CSCP) is an advantage.
