Role Description The Logistics Manager role is a full-time, on-site position based in Bhojpur. The Logistics Manager will oversee daily transportation operations, including planning routes, scheduling shipments, and coordinating with drivers and warehouse staff to ensure on-time delivery. Responsibilities include monitoring inventory levels, supervising loading and unloading activities, and resolving operational issues to maintain service quality. The role involves working closely with customers and vendors, tracking shipment documentation, optimizing costs, and ensuring compliance with company policies and safety standards. The Logistics Manager will also analyze logistics performance data and recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency and reliability.
Qualifications
- Strong Logistics Management and Supply Chain Management skills, with experience overseeing transportation and distribution operations.
- Proficiency in Inventory Management to track stock levels, manage warehousing activities, and support accurate documentation.
- Customer Service skills to communicate effectively with clients, address concerns, and maintain high satisfaction levels.
- Procurement experience to coordinate with suppliers, manage orders, and support cost-effective purchasing decisions.
- Ability to use logistics or ERP software, and solid skills in MS Excel or similar tools for reporting and data analysis.
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and time management abilities, with attention to detail in documentation and compliance.
- Prior experience in transportation, trucking, or related logistics environments is preferred.
- Relevant diploma or degree in logistics, supply chain, business, or a related field is beneficial.
