Role Description The Supply Chain Manager for Abroad Opportunities will oversee end-to-end supply chain activities for international placements and associated operations. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Canada. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing demand planning, coordinating procurement of resources and services, and maintaining optimal inventory levels to support overseas engagements. The role also involves monitoring supply management performance, analyzing data to improve efficiency, and collaborating with internal teams and external partners to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery. The Supply Chain Manager will document processes, prepare regular reports, address operational risks, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives aligned with global standards.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Demand Planning and Analytical Skills to forecast needs and interpret data for decision-making.
- Candidates should possess skills in Supply Management and Procurement to manage vendors, negotiate terms, and ensure reliable sourcing.
- Candidates should possess skills in Inventory Management to maintain accurate stock levels and minimize shortages or excesses.
- Relevant experience in supply chain management, logistics, or operations, preferably with exposure to international or service-based environments.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Business, Engineering, or a related field; advanced certifications (e.g., APICS, CPSM) are an advantage.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate across diverse teams and cultures.
- Proficiency in using ERP or supply chain software, along with solid MS Excel and reporting skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work ethically, maintain compliance with relevant regulations, and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
