Role Description The Senior Human Resources Officer is a full-time, on-site role based in Belagavi. This role oversees HR operations, including implementation and maintenance of HR policies, compliance with labor regulations, and alignment of HR practices with organizational goals. Daily responsibilities include managing employee relations, handling grievances, conducting performance and feedback discussions, and supporting leadership with workforce planning. The role also involves developing and updating job descriptions, coordinating recruitment activities, onboarding new team members, and supporting training and development initiatives. The Senior Human Resources Officer collaborates with project managers and department heads to ensure consistent HR support across construction sites and office locations.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Human Resources (HR) and HR Management, with experience in end-to-end HR operations.
- Ability to design, implement, and review HR Policies that support compliance, fairness, and organizational objectives.
- Demonstrated capability in Employee Relations, including conflict resolution, employee engagement, and grievance handling.
- Experience in Job Description Development, role structuring, and supporting recruitment and workforce planning.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; a master’s degree or HR certification is an advantage.
- Knowledge of Indian labor laws, statutory compliance, and HR best practices, preferably within construction or project-based industries.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff at all levels.
- Proficiency in HRIS or HR management tools, MS Office, and basic data reporting for HR metrics.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
