Role Description The Senior Documentation Executive is a full-time, on-site role based in Indore, responsible for managing and overseeing all export and import documentation activities. The role includes preparing, reviewing, and verifying shipping and customs documents, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and client requirements. The Senior Documentation Executive coordinates with internal teams, clients, and external agencies to resolve documentation issues and maintain accurate records. Daily tasks involve updating document management systems, tracking shipment documentation status, and supporting audits and regulatory checks. The role also contributes to process improvements, provides guidance to junior documentation staff, and helps maintain high standards of accuracy and timeliness in all documentation-related work.
Qualifications
- Strong expertise in Export Documentation and Export procedures, with practical experience in international trade documentation.
- Proficiency in Documentation and Document Management, including organizing, storing, and retrieving records efficiently.
- Effective Communication skills for coordinating with clients, customs authorities, and internal teams.
- Good understanding of logistics, shipping, and customs regulations; prior experience in freight forwarding or logistics is preferred.
- Ability to work accurately under time constraints, with attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
- Familiarity with digital documentation systems, MS Office tools, and basic data entry and reporting.
- Relevant educational background in Commerce, Business, Logistics, or a related field; professional certifications in export/import operations are an advantage.
- Capability to work on-site in Indore and collaborate effectively within a team-oriented environment.
